I had a vivid dream this week, not surprisingly on Friday (I got to bed unusually early Thursday night) with escape artist prisoners and poking guards. And also a dream about yellow Labs.

Sorry about the brevity of this post, but a belt grinder ate my finger yesterday, so typing is more difficult than usual.

I can guess what you're thinking, if you're looking at this blog for the first time, and it involves plenty of exclamation points.
So a quick orientation for the new readers.

The actual entries of this blog should hover around G or PG at most, however, I make no guarantees about the comments or the sidebar links. But the posts should be child-safe. May I recommend my storytime posts?

The Corduroy Giant - My first Storytime, and one of my favorite posts. Got the idea while driving by the hills in my area, originally planned to do it as a poem but sort of had fun with prose.
Dry - A "modern fairytale" if you will. Could be a little unsettling because it is set in the present.
Kh'aar - A bit of dabbling in the travel story genre, like Gulliver's Travels (though not half as expert, I'm afraid). This one can be a bit less engaging on a first read, but might get more interesting once you know the secret...
