In one of my dreams this week, I was not only getting a new car; I was getting a large sphere on which to drive it. No, I don't mean the earth. I mean a large, painted sphere that would apparently roll down the street underneath me. Only in dreams...
I think I will be mysterious today and advertise my clothing shop. The only catch? All you will get is tiny pictures of some of the products. It'll be your web game of the day.
Reality check. Hint: Try starting by figuring out the urls of the images.

I think that the choice is between English or Esperanto as the future global language rather than an untried project.

I would definitely agree that English is a likely candidate for global language. Esperanto is an interesting experiment, but languages are learned as communication tools, so a language with many speakers is practically superior to one created out of thin air. The created language may be more elegant/"universal"/logical (e.g. Lojban), but it has a lot of catching up to do before a large enough amount of people will bother learning it.
ReplyDeleteMy intention with creating my own language is simply because it sounds cool. It has too many limitations (in vocabulary and in usage) to be used as anything other than a curiosity. That's why the body of my blog is written in English!
